While on youtube, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! about this came up on "trending now" we watched it last week, and decided to make it today. Really good!
Ramen, vegie burger, 2 eggs, baby spinach, slice of cheese, some catchup, and little of satl & papper. About 30 minutes to make, but we made 4. We didn't use the packets, next time we will split it between the noodles&egg mixture & ground beef. Was AWESOME! neither kid ate much because kids are picky, daughter ate just noodle buns and son just the burger.

No, no, no! IMHO, this is what a homemade burger should look like. But there's no point discussing personal tastes. These ramen burgers are quite an interesting recipe.

I agree, homemade burgers should be about 1/2 pound, and need of 2 hands, had the veggie burgers to finish, and no ground beef thawed out. If we planned it out would have used ground venison. Also first time, and threw it together. Just sharing something different.

I watched the video. Not sure about the whole thing, but I might try it. My kids might like it. I thought that if she had lined the ramekin with plastic wrap it would have been easier to get the "bun" out. Probably not terribly healthy, though.

we did line ours with saran wrap, and stacked them in the same bowl, making 4, so 8 buns. worked out, & my kids are 1 & 3, so they both pick through stuff.

I love a good homemade burger, and I usually grill (charcoal, never gas). In TX, grilling season is longer. But when I have to cook burgers indoors or quickly, I really like using this griddle my brother gave me. No, this is not a paid advertisement.

Interesting contraption you have there. Looks a bit like the love child of a waffle iron and a sandwich maker. I can totally see it getting the job done! I have been using one of these for indoor grilling.

It's called the Griddler Gourmet , and it's made by Cuisinart. The griddles are lined on one side, smooth on the other. It's originally conceived as a panini maker, I think. But it makes great burgers, grilled cheese, pancakes, etc. And like the Foreman grill, it drains most of the fat away while it cooks. Does the burgers in about 10 minutes. Cleanup is ridiculously easy.
